Neu How to properly update order status through JTL Shop plugin?

I have developed a JTL Shop plugin for creating delivery missions from orders for our delivery method. Same plugin, through a webhook listens for order status updates and updates the cStatus column of the tbestellung table.
I'm trying to figure out if this is the right way of doing this, would the shop automatically synchronize with JTL Wawi? If possible I want to deal with the order updates on the JTL Shop side, but I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right.

By the way, below are the only order status cStatus I could find empirically. I couldn't find "delivered" or "completed" or any other status type. Is this documented somewhere?
1 new
2 in progress
3 paid
4 shipped
5 partially delivered
-1 cancelled

There is no "delivered" or "completed". Those 6 are the only ones. Changing that in the Shop-Database isn't of much use either. With JTL-Shop, JTL-Wawi is leading. Orders from the Shop are usually just sent one time to Wawi. If an already present order is sent again, Wawi will ignore it and not change anything (as far as I know). You can only really react to orders when they are written to the Shop-Database (that's basically the only time you can change something about the order and have that change reflected in the Wawi), or when they get updated by the synchronisation.

Thank you for your response. Is Shop-Database you are mentioning is on Wawi side or are we talking about the database of JTL Shop installation?

The latter. You don't have access to the Wawi-Database when you're working with the shop.
