Neu Unable to change user interface to English

In JTL wawi i tried to change langugae in Allgemein-> Sprache - Added new language “English”, set as Standard then Saved, it asked to restart.

After restart still the interface is in German. Any help is appreciated.

Today there is no interface "English" (but it will come within next 10 month (changed from years)), this option does only mean you can add article-description in english for e.g. the shop.

You need Wawi 1.6 which is currently beta version to have the interface in english.

Thank you very much. I uninstalled old version and tried to install new version but it throws error as attached.

Seems like JTL has blocked the update path from 1.5.53.1 to 1.6.33.1 - no idea why.
