I wanted to ask if anyone here has recently experienced unusual browser crashes or session timeout problems while working with different web applications throughout the day.
For the last week or so, I've been noticing random freezes whenever I keep several tabs open for longer periods. Sometimes pages stop responding completely, and other times login sessions suddenly expire even though I'm actively using the browser. At first I assumed it was related to cookies or cache corruption, but clearing everything didn't really solve it.
What confused me more is that the issue seems to happen more often whenever I try to play game during breaks while still keeping my work-related tabs open in the background. After switching back, some pages reload unexpectedly or become extremely slow for a few minutes.
I already tested another browser and even disabled extensions, but the random lag and session issues still appear from time to time. I'm currently on Windows 11 with the latest Chrome update installed.
Could this be connected to recent Chromium changes, memory handling, or maybe some conflict with hardware acceleration? Curious if anyone else here has seen similar behavior lately.
